Did any one else get tired of hearing Palin say the same thing over and over? I mean don't get me worng. I guess you can say she held her own and was able to do her part in the debate. But I felt as if she was either always qouting the same thing McCain said last week or she was repeating her view that she had already mentioned 5 times within the debate. She never answered a question, and all of her "answers" were weak. I do not feel she helped McCain at all.
I am not sure how I feel about the debate. I missed the beginning but from watching the last half I saw that Palin stood out more than Biden. I do not remember much about what each candidate said about their policies but I felt like the majority of what they talked about was their experiences. I remember that Palin adressed the joke about not knowing what a VP role was and I thought she did a good job of reacting to it and saying that people don't understand it and then listing off the actual roles of the VP. I feel like this shows she has a sense of humor and that she can handle herself in tough situations. Although Biden seemed a little outspoken from what I saw, he still appeared like a very tough candidate to me. I saw this side of him when he opened up and talked about losing his wife and daughter and raising his family. I think that both candidates appeared strong. But I did not like how Palin was repetitive with referring to McCain and herself as Mavericks. I liked the way that Biden commented on this, because I am tired of hearing this phrase. I think this debate when successfully and both candidates became memorable to me.
I personally liked this debate more than the first one. I felt that it was more interesting to see how they really interacted with each other. There were also better questions that were asked during the debate. I felt that Biden really was able to project his views and show the American peoeple that he was human. It was also interesting to hear the different answers that each candidate presented to certain questions. I also liked how they poked at each others differences. For example, how he stated that McCain was no Maverick. Overall, I liked the debate
