OBAMA

I am very excited that Obama has won presidency, and I am very impressed by the difference between the two with Obama having 324 electoral votes and McCain had 145, it was obviously a land slide.

For this being my first time voting, everyone I voted for had won tonight so that is very exciting.

I think what really helped Obama win this election is the younger generation (18-24). Every time they showed people on tv talking about the voting where college students. So Obama is already starting a change by getting the younger generation to express their civic duty by getting out there and voting.

I express congratulations to all those who voted for Obama today. I am not suprised at who won the presidency because there was so much hype about this election being a landslide.

What I find entertaining is while watching the electoral watch on tv, I am also trying to keep up with the screaming throughout my apartment hall and across the street in President's Park. I love the support!!!!

I am excited for the class discussion on Thursday and for the after election talk after class. I think it is going to be interesting to talk to my parents now that their candidate hasn't won...but who knows?

YAY OBAMA :)

not a landslide.. electoral votes skew the popular vote.. it was 50 mill (51%) to 47 mill (48%).. hardly a landslide.. just thought i would throw that out there..
